Operating since 1995, Interactive Training Services Pty Ltd provides training in occupational health and safety and also provides consultancy and advice services to organisations of all sizes and across a broad range of industry sectors.

The company provides customised, practical training at your workplace, incorporating your organisation's health and safety policies and procedures. Participants are involved in discussions, problem solving and active learning. This ensures that our training is relevant and interesting and that participants develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be actively involved in their workplace’s health and safety programs. Training is provided for managers, team leaders, health and safety representatives, employees and Health & Safety Committee members.

Interactive Training Services is a WorkSafe approved provider of the 5 day initial level OHS course for health and safety representatives, managers and supervisors and also the one day OHS refresher for health and safety representatives. Both courses are offered as public/off site courses in Melbourne and also as in house courses at your workplace.

The next public course in Melbourne commences on July 3 and will be conducted over 5 weeks.

Participants receive a comprehensive course manual and all catering as well as a Certificate of Attendance after completing the course.

All training offered by Interactive Training Services is suitable for people from a variety of industry sectors - from community services and aged care to manufacturing, local government and transport & storage.

Interactive Training Services is also able to assist your business with developing its health and safety systems and procedures. Our emphasis is on achieving legal compliance and a healthy and safe workplace through practical, easy to manage procedures and documentation. We can conduct a "gap analysis" and advise you of where further development may be needed or reassure you that you are on the right track! Audits of OHS management systems benchmarked against AS4801 or SafetyMAP can also be conducted.

Workplace compliant First Aid Courses and Kits - save a mate!


At the Give Life Center we believe that life is precious and with quality training and tools anyone can help save a life. We can provide both the tools (kits) and the knowledge (courses) to enable anyone to save a mate, a stranger or a loved one in their time of need.

A "First Aid Kit" Is a collection of tools that enables a trained or untrained individual to implement first aid measures that improves the condition of the injured person.

All of our First Aid Kits are designed by first aid professionals with years of experience in the first aid field.

Each one of our kits is tested to meet high international standards, exceeding CE, FDA and TGA approvals.

We take pride in ensuring that even the smallest detail is considered, such as placing non latex gloves in all of our kits.

For the workplace we have three specific kits:

1: Soft Bag First Aid Kit - ideal for tradies, truckies, small work places,
2: First Aid Box - ideal for offices, low risk worksites with up to 50 people
3: EMT Bag Kit - ideal for high risk workplaces, remote work sites, sports clubs, schools

Our kits are customisable to suit specific needs.

A "First Aid Course" enables a first responder to an emergency or accident to render proper first aid to a second person or persons who need immediate help.

A first aid course will give you the skills and knowledge to stabilise an injured person until professional medical officers can arrive.

Different state OHS laws require that each workplace have a designated first aider on site. This ranges from a Level 1 to a Level 2 - we recommend all states have a minimum Level 2. Our first aid courses are run by ex-paramedic instructors.

The Level 2 Course is run over two days but can be done in one day with on-line studies.

WORKSAFE VICTORIA APPROVED 5 DAY INITIAL LEVEL COURSE FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REPRESENTATIVES, MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS

  • Have your health and safety representatives undertaken their initial 5 day WorkSafe approved course?

  • Do your managers and supervisors understand their responsibilities and can they properly implement your health and safety management systems?

  • Did you know that you can attend our WorkSafe approved 5 day course as one day per week over 5 weeks?


Our course is designed to promote cooperation between health and safety representatives and line management in working together to solve workplace health and safety issues or problems. Our course will assist participants to understand their roles and responsibilities for health and safety under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and to develop skills in:

  • Accessing and using health and safety legislation and codes
  • Identifying and assessing the risks associated with workplace hazards
  • Recommending control measures and corrective actions
  • Investigating incidents, injuries and illnesses
  • Participating in health and safety committees
  • Developing strategies to resolve health and safety issues
  • Communication and joint problem solving
